Electric cars (EVs) are shockingly quiet. That might sound like a blessing for city dwellers and urban residents sick of traffic noise, but it also creates a risk for drivers, bikers and pedestrians relying on sound to detect danger.

Already major car manufacturers try to encode their brands’ ethos into a sound. They turn to elite teams of sound designers to create new noises that play from EVs’ internal and external speakers.

So, if you are a V12 engine lover or prefer the sound of bees on a summer day, this call is for you! Design and perform your car-sound and become a Sound-Perfumer of the Future.

All sound and noise making gear and instruments are allowed: electro-acoustic, acoustic, electronic, robotic, mechatronic and humanic voice. Not allowed: samples of and real engines of any kind.
